West Yakima Tour

• Begin at VALLEY BREWING, located near 40th Avenue, and enjoy some beers and yard games. On Sundays, they serve up some tasty micheladas.
• Take scenic Naches Heights Road up to DOODLEVINES where you can sample multiple wineries offerings, including SIN BANDERAS and NACHES HEIGHTS VINEYARD. To get a full experience, schedule a vineyard tour ahead of time (7 minutes from Valley Brewing).
• Just around the corner from DoodleVines, pop into WILRIDGE to enjoy a glass of wine or brandy and take in the incredible views above Cowiche Canyon (2 minutes from DoodleVines).
• Keep heading West on Naches Heights road and end up at COWICHE CREEK BREWIING for a burger and a brew or if you’re lucky, they will be serving one of their specialty dishes like lobster rolls or house-made pasta (10 minutes from Wilridge).
• Heading back towards Yakima proper, take a side trip up to GILBERT CELLARS (20 minutes from Cowiche Creek Brewing) for a relaxing afternoon at the winery. Grab some snacks from their cooler to enjoy on the lawn.
• Finish the day with a private tasting at SWEDE HILL DISTILLING before heading back to town. Their tasting room is open by appointment only, so make sure to schedule in advance (5 minutes from Gilbert Cellars).
